just found this website. Have never received any info since I graduated
regarding class reunions - wasn't that difficult to locate as lived
with my parents in Lincoln, NE until 1946. Then I lived in different
cities in Montana until 1954, back to Lincoln until 1987 but of course
my married name was not known. Have lived in Chicago, St. George, Utah
and now to Auburn where I shall probably live out my remaining days.

Burleigh "Bud" Newberg received his high school diploma from Villisca High School sixty-one years after he attended school. "Bud" was due to graduate in June of 1943 but it was wartime and so in January 1943 he joined the Army, never finishing his senior year. He served in the Philippines during WWII. "Bud" Newberg was already listed as an alumnus with the class of 1943. His classmates say he has always been considered a part of their class - but now it is official! |
